In the town of Beryozovsky (Kemerovo region), hearings began on the criminal case over the merits of the religion of Sergey Britvin and Vadim Levchuk. Both of them have been in jail for more than a year. The next meetings are scheduled for August 20 and 21, September 3, 4, 17 and 18, 2019. On July 24, 2019, the judge of the Central District Court of Kemerovo, Elena Lapina, placed under house arrest for one month and 27 days two peaceful Kemerovo residents: Sergey Yavushkin, 58, and Aleksandr Bondarchuk, 45. Prior to that, they spent almost two days in a temporary detention center.
On February 6, 2019, FSB officers detained 35-year-old Khasan Kogut, a resident of the town of Beryozovsky.
In Belgorod and Kemerovo, approximately 30 searches took place in the homes of peaceful citizens. Dozens of people were detained. Some have already been in custody for two days.
