Trial on Merits of Religion of Two Kemerovo Region Citizens Begins. Hearings Scheduled for August-September

In the town of Beryozovsky (Kemerovo region), hearings began on the criminal case over the merits of the religion of Sergey Britvin and Vadim Levchuk. Both of them have been in jail for more than a year. New Searches in Kemerovo Lead to House Arrest for Two

On July 24, 2019, the judge of the Central District Court of Kemerovo, Elena Lapina, placed under house arrest for one month and 27 days two peaceful Kemerovo residents: Sergey Yavushkin, 58, and Aleksandr Bondarchuk, 45. Prior to that, they spent almost two days in a temporary detention center.

Two Witnesses Put in Detention in Kemerovo Region

Mass searches and arrests took place in Berezovskiy. One woman was injured. The prosecution again resorted to a “secret witness”.
