A Criminal Case for Faith Reopened Against the Already Convicted Residents of Karpinsk. A Series of Searches Took Place

On March 30, 2020, in Karpinsk, security forces again searched the homes of Venera Dulova and her daughter, Daria, as well as Alexander Pryanikov. All had received conditional sentences in late January on charges of extremism. Security officials also invaded another family’s apartment in the city of Volchansk (Sverdlovsk Region). There, believers were charged in a criminal case. They surrendered digital media and electronic devices. After the searches, law enforcement officers interrogated Alexander Pryanikov and his wife, Anastasia, and also searched their car.
