In Dagestan, Detention Prolonged Two Months for Four Christians

Dagestan

Since June 1, 2019, Jehovah's Witnesses Marat Abdulgalimov, Arsen Abdullaev, Anton Dergalev, and Mariya Karpova have been held in the Makhachkala detention center because of their faith. On July 25, 2019, Dalgat Hadgiev, a judge of the Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala, ordered to prolong their detention until September 27, 2019, despite the fact that the only accusation against them was their religion. All four are clearly aware that they have not done anything wrong or illegal, and maintain a positive attitude.
