Khabarovsk Trial Begun Over the Faith of a Water Supply Company Employee

On October 28, 2019, in Khabarovsk, the trial began of Yevgeniy Aksenov, whose “guilt,” according to the investigation, is that he and his friends read the Holy Scriptures. In August, FSB officers ransacked his apartment and he was placed under recognizance agreement.

По версии следствия, Евгений Аксёнов вместе с друзьями и знакомыми собирается в одном из хабаровских конференц-залов для совместного чтения и обсуждения Библии, песнопений и молитв. Следователи утверждают, что на этом мероприятии Аксёнов выступает с речью на тему укрепления семьи. 


Следователи допрашивают Евгения — пока как свидетеля — выясняя, входил ли он в состав местной религиозной организации.
