In Perm, Witness Convicted for Faith Sentenced to Excessive Fine

Three hundred thousand rubles instead of the 3.5 years in prison the prosecutor had requested, said the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Perm to Aleksandr Solovyov—one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The verdict was announced on July 4, 2019. The believer insists on his innocence and will appeal the sentence.
