The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kurgan Region initiates a criminal case against Roman Kuchin on suspicion of extremism.
At the Kuchin's apartment in Tyumen, a search is conducted under the direction of Senior Investigator Sergey Grachev. Law enforcement officers break in to the couple's home at 6:00 a.m., order them to lie on the floor, and twist Roman's arms behind his back.
During the investigative actions, electronic devices and data storage are seized. After the search, the believer and his wife are taken to the Investigative Committee of Kurgan and interrogated. Investigator Grachev places Roman under a recognizance agreement.
Kuchina is added to the Rosfinmonitoring list.
